Clean Sailors is proud to support It's Time, Festival of Climate Actions, hosted by Ecologi and in collaboration with WWF

In November 2020, the annual United Nations climate change conference, COP26, was due to take place in Glasgow. Due to the pandemic, COP26 was postponed to 2021. But the climate crisis will not wait.

Hosted by Ecologi and in collaboration with WWF, It's Time seeks to bring together everyone - from kids to CEO's - for collective climate action.

The two-day digital event taking place 17-18 November sees over 100 speakers from grassroots organisations, activists, artists, innovators, kids, scientists, comedians and even a royal patron all giving their time free of charge, to help inspire us to start (or bolster) our climate journey.

Holly Manvell, Lead and Founder of Clean Sailors says:

"Every day and every person is important in cleaning up our actions, for our oceans and our planet. Everybody counts. Everybody can make a small change to make one big, global one. It's so cool to be supporting Ecologi and WWF in the first event of it's kind. It is time, and we can't wait."

About Clean Sailors

Clean Sailors is a not-for-profit organisation, mobilising our global sailing community in conservation of our oceans.

Launched in July 2020, Clean Sailors is a project aimed at raising awareness of ocean conservation issues within the global sailing community, setting a new standard of sailing and sailor.

Clean Sailors increases awareness of key environmental topics, educating, encouraging and mobilising sailors all over the world in accepting their role as guardians of our seas. The Clean Sailors team works to encourage a shift towards more sustainable practices by sharing practical tips, knowledge, science and recommendation on simple switches we can all make to be more responsible sailors (and citizens). By partnering with some of the best and like-minded ocean conservation organisations and sustainable brands, Clean Sailors looks to achieve a more sustainable sailor and sailing industry, for cleaner, healthier seas.

Clean Sailors is also a proud member of British Marine and The Yacht Harbour Association.

For the ocean, for our seas.

We are Clean Sailors.
